 During half century OAO Plastpolymer has been a leading organization of polymerization plastic industry.

On April 10, 2002 the Testing Center received accreditation certificate from FGU Test-St. Petersburg, it confirmed its competitence in control tests of polymeric materials, its products and substances used for the production of polymers.

OAO Plastpolymer Testing Center has a wide range of apparatus to carry out:

       physico-mechanical and thermal tests of polymeric materials, rheological studies determination of electrical properties of materials, chromatographic and TR analysis photometric and potentiometric measurements, thermal oxidative and photooxidative ageing stability.

Experts of the Testing Center have vast experience in:

  • finding compositions of unknown polymer samples;

  • development of Russian and international standards and NU for polymeric materials;

  • arbitration tests;

  • establishment of codes of TN VED.

OAO Plastpolymer Testing Center determines:

  • melt flow index;

  • tensile yield strength;

  • tensile strength and relative elongation at break;

  • crack resistance;

  • Isod and Charpy impact strength;

  • Vicat softening point;

  • injection shrinkage;

  • flexural strength;

  • flexural and tensile modulus;

  • gloss;

  • finds compositions of polymeric materials including secondary raw materials;

  • analysis of raw materials under GOST and TU etc. including chromatographic, gravimetric, titrimetric, photometric and potentiometric analytical methods;

  • development of test procedures;

  • evaluation of the properties of polymer materials and compounds;

  • selection of Russian and foreign similar materials based on the results of compositions of imported materials and their physico-mechanical etc. tests;

  • training of experts of chemical industry- in quality control of raw materials and finished products.
